Two worlds collide... literally.
Adamant The Alliance Series Book One Volume 1 Emma L Adams Books
This book felt extremely slow to me. The main characters didn't even meet until around page 95. I feel like a good 100 pages could have been cut out; lots of filler paragraphs, descriptions, and repetition of the obvious. We end up hearing things multiple times from both character perspectives (i.e., history of why no one knows much about Enzar). Add to that two characters who should have been kicking butt but instead are making an unbelievable number of stupid decisions and/or getting caught and needing rescuing... Survival of the fittest clearly doesn't exist in this universe. I would have liked stronger characters and a faster plot.Product details

Adamant The Alliance Series Book One Volume 1 Emma L Adams Books Reviews
This book was great though in this type of book I don't think God, Jesus, or hell should be mentioned. I had to read the book to my husband taking those words out.
Definitely recommend this book series it's very action packed and you'll never want to put the book down. It's in two different perspectives the lead female and the lead male. And some desire between the two lead female and male roles.
This is an amazing story. From the first words it dragged me in. I read a lot of books, but only maybe a handful have held my attention so well.
I've never read an urban fantasy that I've enjoyed before this one.
I'd recommend anyone who enjoys fantasy to read this book.
Slow read for the first half of the book. Last half was a total kick butt action. And the hint of romance was cute.
I about to read book four. I am thoroughly enjoying this series. It has a very creative concept. And even with the "girl gets boy, girls goes crazy at boy, etc(!)" It explores the history of the characters this enriching the stories. Each time I wonder now what , u get a big surprise!
Really superb story! The premise is very original, and the characters are well fleshed out – i really cared about what was going to happen to them. All of the action followed logically - I never had a, "Where did that come from?" moment. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I might enjoy this more on a reread when I don't have 10,000 other things on my mind. At times, I got frustrated with the repetition and lack of progress, but before I knew it, I was plowing through at 10-11 at night and not wanting to stop. The worldbuilding was an excellent hybrid of sci-fi and fantasy, the characters, although a tad too many for me to keep track of, were engaging. I'll definitely pick up the next book in the series and I can't wait to see where the author takes it next.
